These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the L4 Performance platform (the "Service"), operated by Legacy Four Holdings, Ontario, Canada ("L4", "we", "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service is a strength-and-conditioning platform with two connected parts. For training facilities and their coaches, it records athletes, test results, training sessions, and related performance data, and shows progress and benchmarks. For families, an invite-only portal lets a parent, guardian, or eligible athlete follow that athlete's training, message the facility, book sessions where offered, and manage consent and data rights.
Coach and administrator accounts are provided to facilities for their authorized staff. Family portal accounts are created only from an invitation issued by an athlete's facility, and only by the person the invitation was addressed to: a parent or guardian, or an athlete the facility has confirmed is at least 16. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate account information and notify us of any unauthorized use.
When a facility enters athlete information, the facility is responsible for that information. In particular, the facility confirms it has appropriate consent from each athlete and, for minors, their parent or guardian, before entering their information into the Service, and is responsible for the accuracy of the information it enters and for using it lawfully.
When a family portal account is created, the person accepting the invitation confirms they are who the invitation says they are (the athlete's parent or legal guardian, or the eligible athlete themself) and gives the consent presented on the acceptance screen. Misrepresenting your identity or relationship to an athlete is a violation of these Terms and grounds for immediate termination.
Cross-facility comparison. A family may optionally allow an athlete's exact result and birth year to appear as an anonymous entry (no name, no facility) on other L4 Performance facilities' ranking boards. If you are a coach or facility who can see such an entry, you agree to use it only to compare athletic performance and you must not attempt to re-identify the athlete, and must not export, copy, publish, or otherwise disclose the entry outside the Service. These obligations continue even after the entry is removed.
Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
You agree not to:
The Service is a training and performance tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for the judgment of a qualified health professional. Any wellness, injury, or biometric information is recorded for training purposes only. Always seek the advice of a qualified professional regarding an athlete's health, injuries, or fitness to train or compete.
Paid plans are billed through our payment processor, Stripe, on the cycle and at the price shown at checkout. Applicable taxes may be added. Unless stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable for the current billing period. You may cancel a subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period, after which the plan does not renew.
Family premium subscriptions, where offered, are per athlete and unlock the premium views described at checkout. Free portal features - including the consent, export, and deletion tools on the Data & Privacy page - never require a subscription. If an athlete's portal access is paused or consent is withdrawn, the related subscription stops renewing as described in the portal.
The Service, including its software, design, and content (excluding the data you enter), is owned by Legacy Four Holdings and is protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service while your account is active. The athlete and performance data you enter remains yours.
L4's ownership includes the Service's scoring methods, ranking systems, benchmark datasets, and the design of its reports and player cards. No right is granted to extract, reproduce, or reuse any of these outside the Service, and access obtained in violation of Section 5 (including automated or competitive access) is unauthorized. We may suspend or terminate such access immediately and pursue all available remedies.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Legacy Four Holdings will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months before the claim.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated or if required to protect the Service or its users. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; data handling after termination is described in our Privacy Policy.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are subject to the courts located in Ontario.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make a material change, we will update the date and version above. Continued use of the Service after an update means the updated Terms apply.
